Examples of Client Work, both agency-side and in-house (in-person, hybrid, and virtual)
CLIENT: american association of advertising agencies (4A’s)
The challenge: how to transform 4A’s Conference slate from in-person to virtual to hybrid during the pandemic.
From 2019 - 2023, I oversaw planning, production, creative design, and programming for 20+ conferences (in-person, hybrid, and virtual) for trade organization American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s) featuring executives from Google, TikTok, Meta, Disney, Amazon, NBCUniversal, CBS, and more. This included owning the strategy, planning, production, budget, venues, vendors, as well as speakers, tech stack, UX/ UI, broadcast graphics, sponsor integration, programming, and run-of-show. The events including Decisions, StratFest, and Jay Chiat Awards covered topics such as leadership, management, growth, diversity, inclusion, media, data, and technology and were streamed to the event app. The crux of my role was creating a connected and interactive content experience across their event portfolio — developing a playbook for future events.
CLIENTS: digitas, federated media, and studio71
The challenge: NewFronts are an annual billion-dollar digital marketplace. How do we build an experience that stands out amidst the noise?
From 2012 - 2019, in conjunction with Think Fink, I served as the lead content producer for the Digitas NewFront, strategizing and producing the programming, speaker line-up, run-of-show, script, livestream broadcasts, along with on-site talent management and on-site client meetings. The event programming featured conversations with celebrities such as Meredith Vieira, Rashida Jones, and Andy Cohen, musical performances by Betty Who and Timbaland, and insights from leaders from YouTube, New York Times, iHeart, CVS, American Express, GE, Taco Bell, Old Navy, and more. As Digitas was a buyer not a seller, their content strategy focused on thought leadership, hitting on cultural themes — some examples being: 2019’s Trust Me, 2018’s Boycott, and 2016’s Skip Ads - provocative programming for an advertising agency.
Additionally, I produced NewFronts for Studio71, Collective Digital Studio, and Federated Media.
Highlights include:
Rashida Jones sending her first ever-tweet live on stage with the help of Bravo’s Andy Cohen
Meredith Vieira interviewing the President of CVS after their decision to take cigarettes off the shelves
A reunion of the founders of MTV
CLIENT: nbcuniversal
The challenge: how do we upgrade the digital experience for NBCU’s year-long Upfront campaign?
In 2016-2017, I produced the digital experience for NBCUniversal’s 2017 Upfront Event at Radio City Music Hall including the livestream broadcast from Radio City Music Hall and digital campaigns:
Produced the livestream of NBCUniversal’s Upfront at Radio City Music Hall;
Led the content curation on the NBCU Together video platform, a platform developed to support NBCU advertising;
Led a robust re-design of the NBCU Together platform and served on the digital innovation team which provided brand activation strategy to NBCU networks
CLIENTS: aol & PBS, in partnership with unilever
The challenge: how to build a content strategy across TV, digital, and social media that activates and inspires a community of women across the globe.
I served as the Programming Director for the AOL/PBS series “MAKERS: Women Who Make America”, leading the strategy and production behind the biggest content activation in AOL & PBS history — a TV series, video platform, viral social media campaign, screenings across the US with special guest Gloria Steinem, and a star-studded red carpet premiere event at Lincoln Center.
The strategy went viral on Twitter with women’s organizations and influencers including Gloria Steinem, Ellen DeGeneres, Katie Couric and more tweeting and trending for six hours.
CLIENTS: BBH NEw york & brighthouse financial
The challenge: how to build a connected digital content strategy across videos, podcast, social media, and articles that leverages experts and resonates with financial planners.
I served as the Editorial & Creative Director for a branded content series developed by BBH New York for Brighthouse Financial, leading production of a series of videos, podcast, and editorial content geared for financial advisors leveraging expert opinions on topics such as long-term care planning and retirement planning.
CLIENT: sony music
The challenge: how to launch Former MTV Chief Judy McGrath’s new digital studio with a super cool vibe that hits the youth generation in the way they receive content.
I worked directly with Former MTV Chief Judy McGrath to strategize the launch of her new digital studio Astronauts Wanted in partnership with Sony Music. With orchestrated collabs with influencers on Vine and Instagram, I developed and executive produced #DAYOFF, a social media twist on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off featuring the three biggest teen social media stars, Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, and Lauren Giraldo, with them vining in real-time as they took a day off in New York City. Videos were then released on Astronauts Wanted’s new YouTube channel. The result was pure brand awareness among target teen demo.
